The British were the most powerful military force in the world. Both the rebels and the British kind of wore the same thing. The British had longer guns than the rebels did also called the American soldiers.I think they have less things in common because the American soldiers wore red uniforms and the British wore blue uniforms. The American soldiers had less power than the British did. Yeimmy Pineda sec.53
ReplyDeleteThe British and Americans both had good war attire. They both had weapons and they were both familiar with the terrain. The British and Americans differ ,why? because the British had more weapons then the Americans and they had more men. Also, they had more clothing than Americans.

Why does the picture show the American in the red coats? I thought the British wore the red coats. "The red coats are coming, the red coats are coming." - Paul Revere

ReplyDeleteTHE BRITISH AND AMERICAN AER NOT THE SAME BECAUSE THEY ARE DIFFERENT PAERST OF WODE SO THEY NOT HAVE THE SAME PLAST.
Both had a type of uniform they had to wear, they had weapons, and they both had their own beliefs about the war. Their differences are in status, their knowledge of how to use a type of weapon, and also the way the fought.

ReplyDeleteThey had wepons hats gear and their own beliefs. They both did not have the same color cloth and wepons.
joshua reyes sec53 in my opinon i think there is no alike in them.there is none because they have differnt costumes.
ReplyDeleteOne think that they dont have in comen is the gear. The American solders have to get there own uniforms and weapons. The British soldes have there unforms and weapons provided for theme. I think that they have nothng in common because they are diffrent solders and diffrent teams. they are enemys and ave alot of thinks unconon and do things diffrent because they are diffrent countrys and have diffrent laws and bileves so they have to and get diffrent things.

DeleteThe British and Americans soldiers before the revolution
ReplyDeleteThree comparisons are:
1. Both British and Americans waepons were flintlock musket with bayonets.
2. The lower ranks of the army were both for the British and the American army, the lower class of the society.
3.Just before the war Americans considerd themselves British citizens, equal in every way.
three contrasting things
1. The British were trained professional soldiers; American army was a collection of poorly paid, untrained, underfed and sparsely outfitted citizen soldiers and local militiamen.
2. Each militiamen was expected to provide his own weapon aummution clothing and food for a short expedition; the british soldier was provided with his uniform and issued weaponry and ammuition.
3.The British fought in close formation.the Americans looked for of trees, rocks and fences.
