How do I say goodbye to what we had?
The good times that made us laugh
Outweigh the bad. (verse 1)
I thought we'd get to see forever
But forever's gone away
It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday. (Verse 2)
I don't know where this road
Is going to lead
All I know is where we've been
And what we've been through. (Verse 3)
If we get to see tomorrow
I hope it's worth all the wait
It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday. (verse 4)
And I'll take with me the memories
To be my sunshine after the rain
It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday. (refrain)
And I'll take with me the memories
To be my sunshine after the rain
It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday. (refrain)
Outweigh the bad. (verse 1)
I thought we'd get to see forever
But forever's gone away
It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday. (Verse 2)
I don't know where this road
Is going to lead
All I know is where we've been
And what we've been through. (Verse 3)
If we get to see tomorrow
I hope it's worth all the wait
It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday. (verse 4)

And I'll take with me the memories

It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday. (refrain)

ReplyDeleteThire is rhyming in this song. It has stanzas. I enjoyed learning about history because learning about old times and seeing how many people explored the world showed it took a long time to explore new places.
It makes this a poem because it has stanzas and verse and repition. Two things i will miss about fifth grade is my friends and my kindergarten-4th grade teachers. I really wont miss any of my 5th grade teacher.
